Nice bag! I keep similar contents in my shoulder bag (Finnbag) as well. I like how things are more easily accessible as compared to a backpack. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the Finnbag.

Nice blog, by the way!

Hey, maybe you could tell us a little more about this razor, like when was it made, or if it is rarer than the others I see, like Fatboys and Super Speeds. Just wonderin'!

I enjoyed your review of this razor. I have been an open comb fan and a New Standard 3 piece has been my primary razor for the better part of a year. I agree with your observation that the OC is a more aggressive razor then most closed saftey bars. Based on my experimentation I would call them a mid-range aggressive; I say this without direct experience with the TTO, but assuming from your discription it has to be similar to the 3 piece. You have to pay attention to technique, but they give a close, comfortable consistent BBS if you stay on top of speed and angle. I am on the list to try this razor and I am looking forward to it.

These razors and I include the early Aristocrats are harder to find and a little more pricey to get a good user grade, however if you do like the OC experience the New Standards are still readily available and a decent user won't break the bank. Lately there seems to be lots of very good to close to mints available in cases for under $50.00, if you go in for the collectables. Thanks for the review and may your shaving continue to be close and smooth...
